The Challenge

The main challenge was to create and integrate Shopify apps that could interact seamlessly with Unze London’s existing online store. This required addressing each app's unique requirements while maintaining a consistent user experience. The integration of Fashion Manager ERP was also a challenge. It required a robust middleware to effectively synchronize data between e-commerce platforms and operational platforms.

The Solution

Our comprehensive solution for Unze London included the development of custom Shopify applications using Laravel, PHP and custom middleware. We also integrated the Fashion Manager ERP through the custom middleware. Our approach included:

Return Manager App: This app was designed to automate the return process for Unze London. It provided a user-friendly interface and allowed customers to initiate returns easily.

Discounts and Gift Cards App: This app allowed Unze London to create and manage dynamic gift cards and discount codes, increasing customer engagement and encouraging purchases.

Preorders App: To meet the high demand for exclusive releases and to cater to customers, the app allows them to place orders on upcoming products. This improves inventory planning and sales forecasting.

Fashion manager ERP Integration: To synchronize Unze London's backend system with e-commerce, we developed a customized middleware solution. This middleware enabled seamless data exchange between Shopify and Fashion Manager ERP. It ensured real-time updates to inventory, orders and customer data.

Seamless Experience: It was important to ensure a seamless user experience between the Shopify apps, and the integrated ERP. We designed intuitive interfaces and work flows that were aligned to Unze London's brand aesthetics, and ecommerce goals.
